Breaking Down Silos Between Workforce Development and Economic Development

Advancing Worker Equity (AWE) is focused on improving outcomes for low-wage workers, especially Black, Indigenous and people of color (BIPOC), by supporting economic development and workforce development professionals through research, guidance, and peer-to-peer learning. The initiative is a partnership between New Growth Innovation Network (NGIN) and WorkRise, with support from the Center for Workforce and Economic Opportunity at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta.
